Must-See Tourist Attractions

Founded in 1630, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States. This means we have a lot of historic sights to see, but also a lot of modern attractions. Here are a few to consider:

Freedom Trail—This 2.5-mile trail has lots to see along the way. Take a 1 to 3 hour tour with a guide dressed in Revolutionary garb. The tour ends at Bunker Hill, and along the way you can stop at one of the oldest bars in the States, the Bell in Hand Tavern. Head north a bit and check out Paul Revere’s House.

Fenway Park—While some cities build new stadiums at the drop of a hat, our baseball park has been around since 1912. If you are in town during a Red Sox game try to get tickets, or at least take a 1-hour guided tour.

Visit Our Ivy Leagues—Head over to nearby Cambridge to stroll the beautiful grounds of Harvard and MIT. You certainly won’t be the only tourists sightseeing at these prestigious universities. Make sure you head to Tory Row to visit the 7 Colonial Mansions.

Our Many Museums—Head to the museum that peaks your interest: Museum of Fine Arts, John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library, Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, Isabel Stewart Gardner Museum, Museum of Science, USS Constitute Museum, Boston Children’s Museum, New England Holocaust Memorial, and more!
