Boston University

Berklee College Of Music

Founded in 1954 by MIT engineer Lawrence Berk, this school is one of the first colleges in the country to commit fully to music such as jazz, rock, electric guitar, film scoring, songwriting, turntables, electronic production, and more than a dozen other genres and fields of study. Alumni have won over 250 Grammys and Latin Grammys. They also have a branch in Spain.

Suffolk University

Founded in 1906 this private university offers programs in law, arts, science, and business. They have a handful of satellite locations in Riverwalk, Lawrence, and Madrid. Right in the heart of downtown, a perfect campus to tour—then venture out around town.
